Meet Asher

I’m an artist based in southern Louisiana, working across painting, drawing, sculpture, film, and installation. My art practice bridges storytelling, community, and world-building—blending vibrant color with realism to capture emotion, connection, and care. Over the past decade, I’ve taught paint and sip classes that make art accessible and joyful, and for the past four years, I’ve also taught in higher education, guiding students through deeper explorations of creative practice.

Art, for me, began as a way of life—something woven into the everyday—and naturally grew into a professional path. Alongside my personal work, I offer portrait commissions, live wedding paintings, murals, and custom projects. I find deep joy in collaboration, whether it’s with fellow artists or people who don’t consider themselves “creative” at all—because I believe everyone has something beautiful and special to bring to the table.
